St. Bernard’s Music Ministry will lead sung night prayer in the church. This simple liturgical prayer takes only 10 minutes and is a beautiful way to end the day. Students, parents and all parishioners and friends are invited to join! 

WHAT IS SUNG NIGHT PRAYER?

Night Prayer (traditionally called Compline) is the final “hour” of the Liturgy of the Hours, the official daily prayer of the Catholic Church. While many associate the Liturgy of the Hours with monastic life, the Church intends these prayers to be sung by all the faithful together as a public, communal act of worship.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT? 

Just show up! You don’t need to be familiar with the Liturgy of the Hours ahead of time. We will provide a booklet and a guided prayer experience. Consider this a time to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God.
